Material & Size Options

Standard 4mm Corrugated Plastic

Most Common

The default for political signs, real estate signs, and event signage. Lightweight, weatherproof, and rigid enough for H-frame wire stakes. Rated for outdoor use; UV-resistant inks hold color for 1–2 seasons.

Heavy-Duty 6mm Corrugated Plastic

Longer Life

Extra thickness for construction sites, semi-permanent installations, and locations with high wind or physical handling. More rigid than 4mm and resists bending when inserted into harder ground.

H-Frame Wire Stakes

Hardware

Standard heavy-gauge wire H-frames that slip into the bottom channel of a corrugated sign. Included with most sign orders on request. Step stakes available for compacted or hard soil.

How Yard Sign Printing Works

  1. 1

    Choose Size, Sides, and Quantity

Tell us your sign size, whether you need single or double-sided printing, your material preference (4mm or 6mm), and whether you need H-frame stakes. If you have a deadline — a campaign distribution date, an event weekend, or a listing going live — mention it upfront.

  2. 2

    Submit Your Artwork

Send a print-ready PDF or vector file at the actual sign dimensions with 0.125" bleed. For double-sided signs, provide both sides as separate pages. We review every file for resolution and bleed before printing. If you need a sign designed from your logo and copy, our design team can produce a simple layout — ask for a design quote.

  3. 3

    Print, Cut, and Pick Up

Signs are printed in full color, UV coated, cut to size, and quality-checked before release. H-frame stakes are packaged with the signs if ordered. Most yard sign jobs turn around in 2–4 business days. Local pickup in Homewood; shipping available for larger orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size yard sign should I order?
18×24" is the standard yard sign size — it fits most H-frame wire stakes, is readable from a passing car, and is what most political campaigns and real estate agents use. 24×24" is larger and more visible at higher-traffic intersections. 24×36" is used for larger properties, construction sites, and events where you want maximum impact. If you're unsure, 18×24" is the safe default for residential yards and standard ROW placements.
What material are yard signs printed on?
4mm corrugated plastic (also called coroplast) is the standard for most yard signs — lightweight, weatherproof, and rigid enough to hold a stake. For sites where signs face more abuse — construction sites, high-wind areas, long-term installations — 6mm corrugated plastic provides more rigidity and durability. Both print in full color on one or both sides.
Do yard signs come with stakes?
H-frame wire stakes are available and can be included with your order — just specify when you request a quote. Standard H-frame fits most 18×24" and 24×24" signs. Step stakes (for harder ground) are also available. If you already have stakes from a previous order, signs can be ordered without hardware.
How long do yard signs last outdoors?
Corrugated plastic yard signs with UV-resistant inks typically last 1–3 years outdoors in normal conditions. Direct sun, extreme heat, and physical damage are the main factors that reduce life. For temporary campaign or event signage (days to weeks), standard 4mm is fine. For semi-permanent business signage meant to last a full season or longer, 6mm with laminated print surface provides better longevity.
What is the minimum order quantity for yard signs?
There's no enforced minimum on most yard sign orders — we can print as few as 10 signs for a small event or a local campaign just getting started. Per-unit cost drops meaningfully at 25, 50, and 100 pieces. Political campaigns ordering large district quantities (500+) should call us directly to discuss bulk pricing and production scheduling.
