How Stationery Printing Works

  1. 1

    Choose Your Items and Quantity

Tell us which stationery items you need, your approximate quantities, and any design requirements — your name or monogram, your business logo, or a style direction. We'll confirm whether you're sending artwork or need design work.

  2. 2

    Approve a Digital Proof

We produce a digital proof showing layout, typography, paper size, and color before any printing begins. For monograms and names, every spelling is verified. You approve before we go to press.

  3. 3

    Print, Box, and Pick Up

Stationery is printed on your chosen paper stock, cut to size, and packaged. Suite orders are boxed together. Local pickup at our Homewood location; shipping available for larger orders or gifts being sent directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between personalized stationery and business stationery?
Personalized stationery features your name, monogram, or a personal design — it's for individual correspondence, not a business brand. Business stationery (letterhead, envelopes, notepads) carries your company logo, address, and contact information and is used for professional communications. We print both, and the process is the same — the design direction is different.
What paper stock do you use for stationery?
For business letterhead, 24 lb or 28 lb bond is standard — it runs through most office printers after you fill it in. For personal note cards and monogrammed stationery, we recommend 100 lb cover stock minimum; cotton and linen papers are available for a premium feel. For envelopes, we match the paper weight to your card or letterhead stock so the suite feels cohesive.
Can you match my existing brand or stationery design?
Yes — send us your existing files (PDF, AI, or high-res logo) and we'll match your brand colors, fonts, and layout. If you need a design built from scratch, our design team can produce a stationery set from your logo and a brief. Stationery design is typically a flat fee quoted after we see your requirements.
What is the minimum order for stationery?
Minimums vary by item: note cards and personal stationery start at 25 sets; letterhead at 100 sheets; envelopes at 25; notepads at 10 pads. For stationery suites (coordinated set of multiple items), we quote the package as a whole. Smaller quantities are possible for some items — ask when you request a quote.
How long does stationery printing take?
Most stationery orders turn around in 3–5 business days after artwork approval. Design time (if needed) adds 2–3 business days for a first proof. Rush turnaround is available on some stationery items — call to confirm if you have a deadline.
